Sai, Nunchaku & Tonfa
Dating from the 17th century, all these weapons originated in Okinawa when traditional fighting weapons were prohibited for use by the inhabitant farmers. Innovative ways of substituting agricultural implements as weaponry were found and developed as the techniques could go largely unnoticed
